What up girl?
Ooops, I did it again! Another overseas teaching trip…an economic way to visit a new country: China! This is a YRDSB sponsored trip and I will be training Chinese teachers of English (not teenagers…yay!!!) for three weeks in the city of Qingdao. Along with my two newest teaching buddies, Claudia and Preet, we’ve planned every weekend and extended our stay an additional week. Our purpose: see and do as much as we can. Be prepared for pics and reports about Macau, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, to name a few places. I depart on Friday, July 13 (hopefully not an auspicious date!) and return August 15th.
This is also my first experience with Blogging so please excuse the glitches and amateur approach. Thanks to Mishel for setting up the blog for me.
Sandra! I bet you & your new teaching buddies have already planned out all your trips. =) In case you guys missed this for Macau..I wanna suggest this if you've got time to go to "Hac Sa Beach" in Macau, a.k.a. Black Sand Beach..the sand there is black, and it's so cool!! Also, if time permits, try to find this Portuguese restaurant by Hac Sa Beach, called "Fernando's"..the food there is delicious especially their pork!! =)
